The Task.

Tomorrow January 28th I will have the honor of being a part of the Jury panel for the Junk or Genius II Competition. I am really excited about this opportunity to be part of the selection process. It should be interesting to see how myself and the fellow jurors respond to the artwork. I am also eager to see the range and variety of work which we will be presented. My work just got accepted into the Fears and Phobias show which will be held at the Target Gallery in the Torpedo Factory Art Center.

This is an image I've been wanting to paint for a while. I like trying to achieve the different textures ranging from the sand, to the water, and then rocks. Hopefully will be done soon!
